Strolling through the streets of Gili Air is a real temptation. There are so many lovely things in the shops that you’ll want to pop into every one of them. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), travelling with children means you can’t indulge in these kinds of activities as much. In our case, Maria Rita starts complaining as soon as I spend “too long” browsing in shops. Ultimately, though, my wallet doesn’t seem to mind! Here’s a list of the best boutiques for shopping in Gili Air.
Toko
This boutique was my favourite in Gili Air, it had such lovely items!
They sell gorgeous tote bags that are perfect for the beach or everyday use, as well as necklaces, home décor pieces, and clothes that are definitely worth checking out.
It’s not cheap, but you’ll find unique and sustainable pieces here, and that comes at a price.

Kartini the Label
A boutique with plenty of lovely options for bikinis, swimsuits, dresses, and earrings.

Aesthete Studio
This is another shop well worth a visit. You’ll find jewellery, home décor, framed photographs, fragrances, and much more besides.

Mojo Boutique Gili Air
You’ll find T-shirts and shirts for men here, as well as some women’s clothing. Many of the items feature “Gili Air” prints, making them the perfect souvenir to take home from the island.

There are many more lovely shops and boutiques in Gili Air, but these were the ones that caught my eye the most for shopping in Gili Air.
You’ll also find plenty of places selling custom-made, locally, crafted jewellery, which would make a nice souvenir to take home. You can even join jewellery-making classes during your stay on the island. I’ve shared a few suggestions in the post:
